Happy Valentine's Day!

Normally I don't make a huge deal over Valentine's Day.  I think it's just another day for people to buy cards and flowers (which are both over priced!). I'd rather get something the week before or after Valentine's Day - then it has a surprise factor too! 
Anyway, this Valentine's Day TJ is in Orlando for a work convention so it was just me and Kalibug to celebrate. 
I was able to get Kali some Bubble Guppies stuff online, and saved it for Valentine's Day.

Kali's Presents:

She loves to open boxes and pull things out, so I figured that she would enjoy opening her gift out of a box.  And she did!!!

Kali loved her book (which was her nighttime story), shared the chocolates after dinner, and watched Kung Fu Panda together (mostly, I watched it - but she enjoyed pieces).  It was a great Valentine's Day.  Wish TJ was here to share it with us, but we did get to chat with him before bed.

I got so many hugs and kisses from Kali and got to rock my favoritest little girl to sleep. Great day!

4 MONTHS!

I tried to post this last week...but for some reason it wouldn't let me.  So here it is! :)


Kali turned 4 months old yesterday! Where has the time gone???
We have her 4mo dr's appt today...not looking forward to those shots, but I'm sure she'll be fine.
I can't wait to ask the doctor about solid foods.  She seems ready (because she stalks my fork when I'm eating something!!!!!!!).  Hopefully going to be a good day (plus I brought her to work with me! So cute!)

Cause I just wanna suck my thumb!!!

We went to her 4 month appt, and she is now 17.1 lbs and 25.5 inches long! She's in the 100th percentile for her weight and 75th for her height.  Dr. Albibi gave us the green light to start on solid foods.  So we tried some peas on Friday.  She was ok with them...I think it was the spoon she didn't like the most.  But she definitely has the eating part down! :)

I can't believe that my little munchkin is 4 months old already! Crazy how time flies!!!
