LiGhTs, CaMeRa, AcTiOn!!!

Devin has been participating in a summer acting camp while here visiting us for the summer.  It's been 5 weeks of hard work, and they finally had their performance this weekend.
Legally Blonde!
It was fantastic! The kids did a great job, and it was fun to see Devin actually on the stage performing! I wasn't really able to get good pictures because they didn't want any flashes.  So I took the best I could get. We're so proud of him!!!!!
And I think he's wanting to come back next year and do it again...we'll see how that goes! ;-)

The kids!
Kali really enjoyed the performance as well.
She would clap really loud, and then get upset when the scene was over.

It's been so fun having the boys here this summer! Can't wait to be able to do it again!

Splish Splash

This weekend, we took the whole family to Shipwreck Island Water Park.  It's always so much fun to be able to go!!!!!  Since I bruised my tailbone, and it's still not healed, I spent most of the day in the kiddie area with Kali while the boys went and rode all the rides.  Unfortunately, that means I did not get any pictures of them on the rides like I wanted to.  But that doesn't mean I'm lacking for pictures :)

Devin spent most of his time doing anything he wanted and would just swing by the kiddie pool to check in with me.  Michael and TJ ventured off and rode "all the rides" at one time and came back to hang out and eat lunch.  All the parents went round the lazy river about 4 times before coming back to hang out.  But my mom and I hung out with Kali.  She had a blast, as did everyone else, because they were all able to do the things they wanted to do! Win-Win!!!

This is the boy's last full week here.  I'm very sad, but I'm hoping to be busy with them! This Wednesday, Michael and I are going back to Paint Your Art Out (PYAO) to do the next picture in the series ~ The Crab! Very excited.
Friday, we'll be going to Devin's play.  He's been working so hard in the theater camp this summer, I can't WAIT to see how the play turns out!!!! There will be LOTS of pictures of that!
And then Saturday, I think I'm going to take the boys (and Kali) to the beach.  I don't think they've been to the beach the entire time they've been here.  And...well...that's what Panama City is KNOWN for. So I"m kinda disappointed that they haven't been yet.  But, Michael keeps saying that he lives by the beach so it's not that big of a deal to him.  We'll see what he says come Saturday.

So, here are some pictures from our Shipwreck Island trip!

I have a picture of her when she was about 6 months old going through this tunnel.
She's much bigger!!!!

Sweet SuMmEr TiMe!!!

This summer, my nephews are staying here (between my parents and my house).  It's been so much fun having them here and being able to do fun things with them!

Devin has been signed up for a theater camp, and on July 20th they'll be performing Legally Blond the play.  I can't wait to get pictures and video of that performance! Devin said that it's going to be fun, and that he's in a few parts.

Michael, the typical teenager, is bored.  Even though he has the opportunity to go to the beach every day, he's still bored.  So, TJ and I have been coming up with some things to do with him.  I've taken him to Pier Park a few times to go shopping, we've been to the mall, TJ had him help out with some lawn care stuff, and we took both boys floating down the Chipola River (where I bruised my tailbone, but that's another story all together) and to the Mobile Swamp Bogin (big trucks, dirt,4-wheelers, and friends - FUN for ALL!).  It's been fun, and I hate to see their time coming to an end, but I'm sure my sister will be happy to have them back home.

Tonight, I took Michael to the Paint Your Art Out (PYAO) at the Visual Arts Center.  We painted a seahorse.  It was so much fun, and it was really nice to just be able to hang out with him.  And he'll get to take it home to remember his trip forever!!! :-)

Painting is serious business!!!

Completed works of art!
I love them!!!!!!!

I'll be sure to take some more pictures (I know my sister will be happy about that) and post some more after Devin's play!!! I love these kiddos and am so glad that they have been able to come hang out with us this summer!
